Easy WiFi for cameras

eyefilm.jpgI am always on the lookout for the gadgets of the future. Here is something, that while not strictly a gadget is certainly an interesting device that will help users of digital cameras WiFi connectivity.  An SD card that supports 802.11g WiFi so that any cameras that support the SD card can connect wirelessly to a PC. Cool huh!

At present the card is still in development, with beta trials expected to be completed by the Autumn. The Eye-Film as the card will be known, is to be produced by the company Eye-Fi. The  primary focus is on compatibility with cameras, however it is obvious that the potential exists for use with other gadgets supporting the SD format such as PDA's
